The Bachelor of Counselling (BCouns) is a three year degree that integrates Christian faith with a range of well-established counselling theories and practical skills, preparing graduates for work in community, church-based, or private practice settings.
The programme is built on a core foundation of biblical, theological, and philosophical studies, fostering a deep appreciation of Scripture and the outworking of the gospel in both life and professional practice. Personal formation is a vital component of the degree.
Much of the learning takes place through personal counselling and group process work, which all students participate in each semester. These groups are where deep and lasting formation occurs.
